MOLIERE MEETS THE KILLERS

The Sound Design was one of the more ambiguous and surprising aspects of the Production. Ambiguous for the production team, and surprising for the audience. One more than one occasion, Sound Technician Nathan Pavey said to fellow Technician Daniel Mauer, “I don’t think the music we’re looking for exists!” Through a sudden stroke of genius, the soundtrack came together. When the audience heard the first strands of techno/rock/lyrical music, it seemed strangely out of unexpected. But once the outlandish (yet strikingly recognizable) characters entered the scene, their connection to the music and the world of the play began to make sense.

**Be aware that the songs, “The Mother We Share” and “We Sink” by Chvrches are explicit, though no sections with explicit content were used during the show.
